Gentle Nail Care Sessions for Residential Homes

At Samantha Maria Beauty, I offer tailored 30-minute nail care sessions designed specifically for elderly residents in care homes. Each session is a gentle, relaxing pamper that promotes hygiene, boosts morale, and brings a touch of normality to daily life. With my 13+ years in residential care (including dementia support) and current role as an Emergency Department Assistant at A&E, I understand the unique needs of seniors – from varying mobility to mental capacity. These monthly activities encourage friendly chats, social interaction, and a sense of wellbeing, helping residents feel cared for and connected.

What’s Included in Each Session

  • Warm hand soak to soften skin and nails

  • Gentle nail clean, tidy, and clipping (including under-nail care)Cuticle tidy for comfort and health

  • Optional top coat or colour polish (if chosen)

  • Quick hand lotion massage for relaxation

Sessions are 1:1 and last 30-minutes per resident, held in a common area or rooms – I bring all sterile equipment and adapt to individual needs.
